On behalf of IBSF President and Board of Executives I hope you and your families all are good and safe.
I would like to inform you that the IBSF held Executives meeting by Zoom on Saturday the 5th September.
We discussed the impact the Covid -19 Pandemic is having on sport, travel and life in general.
We are conscious the IBSF has a duty of care to all our members.
The IBSF have therefore decided to cancel all IBSF tournaments for 2020. These tournaments will not be rescheduled.
The IBSF are planning a return to International competitions in the second half of 2021 which is the usual time slot for IBSF events.
In the interim with the support of the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation we are planning a series of World Cup events in late February in Qatar and more details will follow later.
The IBSF Executives have also decided in the best interest of all members to postpone the 2020 AGM until early 2021 and We are planning to hold the AGM in our headquarters in Qatar during one of the World Cup events in late February.
